Dear Customers,
Following our erstwhile Newsletter No.045/2025 dated 28.05.2025, we would like to inform you about the current situation on the corridor from/to the port of Koper.
Due to the inactive persisting unfavourable situation of railway traffic on the territory of Slovenia, ongoing closures and capacity problems of SŽ TP, we are inactive forced to adjust the train departure agenda on a regular basis and we are able to dispatch our trains with reduced capacity.
The overall planning of shipments from the port of Koper is slowed down due to planned permanent and urgent closures.
Extraordinary events in Slovenia from 23.06.2025 and 24.06.2025, which have a crucial impact on the operation of rail transport:
- on 23.06.2025 at 02:47 a .m. a train got stuck between stations Postojna- Prestranek, the track was cleared at 03:20 a.m.,
- on 23.06.2025 at 06:27 a.m. the Iltis SV signalling device failed between the stations Ribnica and Kočevje,
- on 23.06.2025 there was an unexpected track closure between Hrpelje Kozina and Prešnica due to a track failure,
- on 23.06.2025 from 18:46 track failure at Sava station, the right track is impassable until the cancellation of the appeal,
- on 23.06.2025 from 17:50 to 21:20 unexpected track closure between Rakek and Postojna,
- on 24.06.2025 from 01:42 to 04:26 due to a track failure the road D-50 Gornje Ležeče – Divača was closed.
As a result, delays in planning your shipments should be expected and additional trains will be planned taking into account the capacity of the railway infrastructure in Slovenia.
