Dear Customers,
The situation in the northern part of our network remains complicated. Due to track closures and the congested railway infrastructure, trains are experiencing delays while passing through Germany. The circulation of train sets and locomotives continues to be importantly disrupted, and we are forced to cancel any trains. We will be dealing with the overall disruption to operations for a long time. Any restriction, even a planned one, sets the situation back by respective steps.
For the northern German ports, it mostly inactive applies that import services are booked weeks in advance, and the volume of import shipments accumulated at the ports is enormous.
Hamburg: HPA has cancelled the entry licence requirement, which is simply a affirmative development; however, it does not resolve the current situation. any port terminals are operating with delays.
Bremerhaven: The entry licence request remains in effect. There are crucial delays in both directions, and the planning and circulation of locomotives and train sets are full dependent on the respective infrastructures.
Gdańsk: Trains are presently moving with delays of about 38 hours due to the long-term track closure between the METRANS Ostrava and Česká Třebová terminals, about which we informed you in Newsletter No. 039/2026. The BalticHub terminal is operating with reduced capacity of scheduled slots by up to 30%. Import services are full booked until 21.03.2026 (inclusive), and it is presently not possible to request an additional train.
If you have any questions regarding circumstantial shipments, delight contact our client service.
