Suspension of Train Services in Hungary Due to dense Snowfall – Update No. 1

Dear Customers,

With respect to our Newsletter No. 003, in which we informed you about the temporary suspension of freight train services across the full Hungarian rail network, we would like to inform you that, according to the latest information from MÁV, these restrictions were lifted today, 8 January 2026, at 8:00 a.m., and freight train operations are gradually being resumed.

However, due to the above restrictions, we proceed to evidence train delays of about 24 – 30 hours. For operational reasons, we were forced to cancel 4 pairs of trains in the direction of KOPER the erstwhile day.

We proceed to actively monitor the situation and are doing everything we can to minimise the impact on the transport of your shipments.
