Prague, September 2 – Today, METRANS and Volvo Trucks unveiled the first-ever deployment of six electrical trucks in the Czech Republic. This is the largest fleet of electrical vehicles of this kind in the country and a crucial step for METRANS toward sustainable logistics.
The electrical trucks will primarily be utilized for the alleged first and last mile, i.e., in urban and suburban transport sections where sound and emissions request to be minimized. This step will enable METRANS to further reduce its carbon footprint and contribute to improving air quality in densely populated areas.
